Three locals win events in Ft. Pierre

Three local participants in the Ft. Pierre Rodeo held July 3-4 came away with championships and picked up points toward their South Dakota Rodeo Association (SDRA) standings. Kessa Deal of Dupree won the barrel racing crown and $916 with a time of 17.

Bring home memories, not ticks

Recently our family went on a camping trip. Our kids loved how we canoed our supplies across a lake and set up our campsite. My wife and I were reminded how much work it is. Soon our children were experiencing more mosquitos, flies, caterpillars, and ticks than they had ever seen before.

Proud parents Pierce and Brie (Kunf) Keller are happy to announce the birth of their firstborn son. Oliver Bennett Keller came into the world on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022 at Monument Health in Rapid City. He weighed 8 lbs., 5 oz. and measured 18 inches long.
