TLHS seniors complete Capstone projects

Fourteen Timber Lake seniors are working to complete the Capstone projects with Karyl Boldt as their teacher/advisor. Capstone consists of four major components: Research, Product, Presentation, and Portfolio.

Students chosen for NWAS Academic Olympics

The annual Northwest Area Schools Academic Olympics is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20 at Dupree School. Students from the following schools plan to participate: Bison, Dupree, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, Faith, Harding County, Lemmon, McIntosh, and Timber Lake.

Monday, April 18: No school - Easter Monday Tuesday, April 19: Breakfast: Cereal, muffin, juice, fruit, and milk. Lunch: Chicken nuggets, carrots, dinner roll, fruit, and milk. Wednesday, April 20: Breakfast: French toast, bacon, juice, fruit, and milk.

DHS Choir earns superior

The Dupree JH/HS Choir competed at the Region VI music contest in Mobridge and proudly took home their highest recognition — a superior rating.

On Friday night, there was a Knights of Columbus fish fry held in the church basement where people from Trail City and Timber Lake joined together. Bill and Laurie Bickel were in Chamberlain on Sunday for Laurie’s nephew, Eric Reuer’s, confirmation.
