Timber Lake board meets

The Timber Lake City Board met last Tuesday, March 22 in special session. The board reviewed the 2021 annual financial report and the applications for grant funding for the proposed wastewater infrastructure improvement project. Details are in the official proceedings on page 16.

Candidate list updated

Tuesday, March 29 was the deadline for filing petitions for the June 7 Democratic and Republican primary elections. Petitions sent by registered mail and postmarked by 5 p.m. on March 29 can be accepted. March 31 is the deadline for candidates who have filed to withdraw.

Teachers, school board agree on 6.9% increase

Timber Lake teachers will receive a nearly seven percent increase in salary and benefits next school year after members of the Timber Lake Education Association and Timber Lake School Board reached agreement last week.
