Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived - a few days late

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in Timber Lake on Monday, December 15 and meet lots of kids at the Timber Lake Museum. They had been scheduled to be at the Community Center on December 11 as part of the Community Christmas but weather changed that plan.

About 300 CRYP gift boxes for kids still to be adopted

With less than two weeks remaining in the 2025 Wo Otúh’an Wi (Moon of Giving Away Presents) Toy Drive, the Cheyenne River Youth Project says that approximately 1,200 children across the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation have submitted wish lists.

Isabel board okays furnace replacement in maintenance shop

The Isabel Board of Trustees okayed two big-ticket items at their regular monthly meeting last Wednesday, Dec. 3.The board approved a bid of $5,178.65 from Apex Services LLC of Timber Lake for the replacement of the heater in the town’s maintenance department shop.
