Isabel board approves $1/hr. pay increase for employees

The Isabel Board of Trustees will not get a pay raise for 2026 but employees of the town will after wages were set at the board’s January meeting.Trustees currently receive a salary of $700 per year while the president of the board receives $800.

CRST, Standing Rock Sioux Tribes ban ICE, immigration

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST), Standing Rock Sioux Tribe (SRST) and the Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) have formally declared that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity is not welcome or authorized on their reservations.

Corps of Engineers says Standing Rock can’t sue over pipeline inaction
