The 2020-21 Report Card is now available at sdschools.sd.gov. The Report Card is produced by the South Dakota Department of Education and provides information on how students and schools across the state performed.

All-State Chorus singers

Students representing Timber Lake School this year at the 2021 All-State Chorus are (L-R) Ameriah Eagleman-alto, Caleb Quinn-bass, Michaela Hoyt-soprano, and Seth Barnica-tenor. The 2021 South Dakota All-State Concert will finally be held after being cancelled last year due to Covid 19 restrictions.

Timber Lake students focus on cultural activities on Native American Day

Reflections on Native American Day by Cara Biegler’s grade 6 TAA group

Claire O’Leary: I learned about: how we have warm weather from The Origins of the Big Dipper, my family history, Billy Mills, Kelsey DX Scott and how she gave beef to the local stores, and the Hunter’s Promise. All the students were given some super good jerky.

Recent visitors

Bill and Beverly Parker of Graham, WA recently visited Timber Lake, hometown of the Parker family, and stopped at the Museum to check out some family history reources. Bill is one of Rita (Gage) Parker and the late Gordon Parker’s ten children.
