Dewey County to sell surplus property

The Dewey County Commission, meeting on Tuesday, October 12, set November 8 as the date of sale for some county surplus property. The list of items includes two vehicles, the steel roofing material recently replaced on the courthouse, a 1990 Ford tractor and mower, two generators, a 1035 gal.

Calves killed in semi rollover south of Isabel

Six calves were killed and the driver was cited after a semi-tractor trailer rollover on Highway 20 just south of Isabel on Monday, Oct. 11. According to the Dewey County Sheriff Dan Assman, his department responded to the report of a rollover at 12:14 p.m.
