Dupree Blood Drive Sept. 20

A blood drive will be held in Dupree on Monday, September 20 at the Catholic Church Hall. It will start at 3 p.m. and the last appointments will be at 6 p.m. The demand for blood is high right now and there is a shortage of donors.

Man dies in motorcycle crash

Vernell Hoechst, 66, of Bismarck, ND died following a motorcycle crash 13 miles southeast of Bison last Wednesday, Sept. 8. The driver was riding a 2011 Harley-Davidson FLHTK motorcycle southbound on Bixby Road near the intersection of Ridgeview Road around 1:30 p.m.
