District Legion, ALA meetings set for Sept. 12

The District 1 Fall Meeting of the South Dakota American Legion will be held at the Isabel Community Hall on Sunday, September 12 for Legionnaires from Butte, Harding, Lawrence, Meade, Corson, Dewey, Perkins and Ziebach counties. A social will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Nebraska Picnic set for September 11

The Annual Nebraska/Community Picnic will be making some changes this year. It will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, along with a Woodward family reunion. It will be held on Lawrence Woodward Creek, two miles east of Dupree, on the creek. (Turn north at Highway 65 & 212 Junction.
