Thank you

One of the most competitive events at the Days of 1910 Celebration is the annual silent auction at the Timber Lake Museum. This year bidding began on Thursday and when it ended at noon on Saturday, bidders put down their pencils and lined up to pay for their treasures.

Dewey County Fair: Ribbons for 4-H and open class

The Dewey County Fair was held at Timber Lake on July 29 with 4-H and open class exhibits and an auction of cookies and pies.

Family Fun Night at the City Park

Missouri Breaks Industries Research, CRST Tribal Health, and other sponsors hosted a Family Fun Night at the Timber Lake City Park on July 29. Families enjoyed water inflatables, hula hoops, water balloons, snacks, and the new playground equipment.

Reconstruction progressing on Hwy 212 in Gettysburg

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) continues the reconstruction process on U.S. Highway 212 in Gettysburg. Work on the project has included grading, storm sewer, curb and gutter, sidewalk, lighting, box culvert replacement, and PCC pavement.

Singing Bridge reopens traffic

The South Dakota Department of Transportation says that permanent repairs to the “Singing Bridge” on S.D. Highway 1806 over the Grand River west of Mobridge have been completed and the bridge has reopened to all traffic, as of Friday, July 30.
