Big turnout for Isabel

ABOVE: Lots of patriotic parade entries and a large crowd made for a big parade on Saturday during Isabel’s rodeo & celebration weekend. Isabel Rodeo Association Lane Alley said crowds at the Friday and Saturday rodeos were as big as he’s seen since the Centennial year.

‘Too Good’ proves good enough for Schott; 90-point bull ride garners Days of ‘76 crown

A young bull from the Bar T Rodeo Company lived up to its name last Thursday, July 29, as “Too Good” proved to be plenty good for Chance Schott at the Deadwood Days of ‘76 Rodeo.

SHERIFFS’ REPORTS

Dewey County Sheriff Dan Assman (Multiple agencies provided help and mutual aid during the Days of 1910. The Dewey County Sheriff’s Office made multiple arrest and detainments, depending on which jurisdiction the individual fell under. Thank you to all who helped.

FIRE REPORT

7/16/21 – 5:07 p.m. – Responded with 2 Type 6 Engines and 2 Water Tenders to the “Pad” fire north of the Carol Ducheneaux residence. Approximately 1 acre and several old vehicles were lost in the fire. The fire was caused by human error.
