Dupree National Honor Society inducts 16 new members

On April 26, with sprinkles of much needed rain and a downpour of smiles and pride, the Dupree High School National Honor Society welcomed and inducted their newest 16 members during a candle lighting ceremony with pledges to uphold the strong character guidelines that the NHS represents.

PreK - Jovani Perez is the March Student of the Month in PreK. His grandmother is Mildred. Jovani excelled during virtual learning on Google Classroom. He completed EVERY lesson and assignment in a timely manner.

The Isabel News March 9, 1941 School Census Work is now underway in taking the school census of Isabel Independent School District. Every child of school age listed means about $10 to the district. It is important that every child between the ages of 6 and 21 be listed in the school census.

Bill and Lynn Hahne were in Montana over the week. While they were there, they attended Justin McPherson’s 40th birthday party. They also attended a horse race with the rest of the family. Alex Keller stayed at Jim and Jackie Keller’s house over the weekend.

Families will read, grow together through summer program

“A Family that Reads Together Grows Together” is the theme for this summer’s reading program at Timber Lake School. The School Library will be open on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:30 a.m. on the following dates: May 26, June 2, June 9, June 16, and June 23.
