On Monday, May 3, Dominic Christensen (ABOVE) was sworn in by Judge Michael Day as a new Deputy Sheriff for Corson County. Deputy Christensen moved to the area from Rapid City, where he grew up. He previously worked as a Correctional Officer with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.

April 27, 2021 Floyd Alex High Hawk, Jr., a/k/a Cactus, 33, of Eagle Butte was indicted by a federal grand jury on October 14, 2020 for assaulting federal officers. He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on April 27, 2021, and pled not guilty to the indictment.

Miller Construction receives CTE award
