Ready for the move

The sign was recently removed from the facade of the Moreau-Grand Electric warehouse on Timber Lake’s Main Street. The building will be moved to make room for a new co-op headquarters. The Moreau-Grand board recently hired Upper Deck Architects from Rapid City to design the new building.

Bridge dedication honoring McIntosh soldier set May 15

The South Dakota Departments of Veterans Affairs, Military and Transportation will recognize the service and sacrifice of a McIntosh soldier who was killed in action during the Vietnam War by dedicating a bridge in his honor.

Dupree High School will be holding their prom on Saturday, May 1 and the theme is “Enchanted Garden.” Due to COVID issues, the prom is only for juniors and seniors and the dates that they have invited.
