Area riders dominate saddle bronc event at PRCA rodeo in Bismarck

Local saddle bronc riders dominated at the PRCA Championship Rodeo, capturing four of the top five spots in the event. The rodeo was held March 19-20 at the Bismarck Civic Center with Mosbrucker Rodeo providing the stock.

Lawrence, Kraft and Gabe top first-team All-Conference picks

Timber Lake sophomore Carlie Lawrence and juniors Hank Kraft and Chazz Gabe top the list of players named as first-team All Little Moreau Conference basketball selections for the 2020-21 season.

Kenidee Keller and Htoo Eh of Blunt welcome a son, Asher Wayne Htoo, born March 12, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. He weighed 8 lbs., 8 oz. and was 20 inches long.

Bill and Marchell Phillips were in Isabel Saturday for the WRTP pool tournament. Bill and his team member, Bryan Wiedmer, placed second. On Saturday, Matthew Aberle from Aberdeen was at Chuck and Marsha Aberle’s house for most of the day. Justin and Amaya Aberle from Mobridge were also there.

Dupree Elementary teachers name February Students of the Month

Malaya Marshall is the February Student of the Month in PreK. Malaya’s mom is Maggie Morrison. Malaya is a most caring and honest young lady. When a new student was hesitant to run laps in PE, Malaya took his hand, told him it would be okay, that he can do this, and they ran around the gym together.
