FSA Update: USDA extends deadline for QLA sign-up to April 9

USDA EXTENDS APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR QLA The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending the deadline from March 5 to April 9 for agricultural producers to apply for the Quality Loss Adjustment (QLA) Program because of recent winter storms and some clarifications to program rules.

Our First Graders have been focusing on specific writing standards this semester such as opinion writing, writing biographies, and descriptive writing. We are focusing on procedural writing currently, and they found it fun to do a “how to draw” writing followed by drawing the item.

Dupree Blood Drive is March 22

A blood drive will be held on Monday, March 22 at the Catholic Church hall in Dupree. It will start at 2:30 p.m. with the last available appointments at 5:30 p.m. Donors are required to wear a mask and have a photo ID.
