Beverly Birkeland receives leadership award

Beverly Birkeland of Dupree, former director on the Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative board, was honored with the Legacy of Leadership Award at the annual meeting of the S.D. Rural Electric Association on Jan. 15. Birkeland served on the Moreau-Grand board for 18 years.

Isabel Baptist now Prairie Fellowship

Pastor Richard Toviah has announced some changes at Isabel Baptist Church, including a change of name to Prairie Fellowship Church. Toviah, who has led the congregation since mid-2019, said a new direction includes some contemporary worship music along with hymns.

TLHS senior organizing community art show for her Capstone project
