B. Marshall on Academic Honors List at DSU

A total of 572 full-time and 173 part-time students qualified for the President’s Academic Honors list for the 2020 fall semester at Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison Bergen Marshall of Timber Lake was one of the full-time students who achieved a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.
Stacey Nelson, a 1987 graduate of Timber Lake High School, teaches at St. Thomas More Middle School in Rapid City. She and her husband Wayne live at Caputa with their children, Austin, Abbi and Aaron.

Jeff Birkeland left Timber Lake after graduating from high school in 1988. After 4 years of college at Northern State University in Aberdeen, he worked at Spink Electric in Redfield for two years and has been at West Central Electric Co-op in Murdo for 27 years, the past two years as manager.
