Registration open for winter depredation hunts

As winter approaches, South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) is reminding resident hunters of unique opportunities that could exist later this winter. GFP’s Wildlife Management Program assists landowners with wildlife depredation abatement programs and services.

County board considers request for hazard pay

Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 8, the Dewey County Commissioners discussed a formal request from Sheriff Dan Assman that he and his deputies receive hazard pay due to the additional risk they’ve faced on the job during the coronavirus pandemic.
