With counting of affidavit votes continuing on Tuesday, the unofficial tally of votes from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe’s Nov. 4 general election, as of Monday, were: For District 1 council rep: Randee Red Fox, 111; Bryce In The Woods, 103. For District 2 council rep: Ted Knife, Jr.

Recipes wanted for Holiday Cookbook

Everyone is invited to submit recipes (up to three per person) for the Topic Holiday Cookbook. Although the final deadline is Dec. 1, early entries are encouraged.

Isabel board concerned about loss of sales tax

Anyone wondering how businesses in the town of Isabel are weathering the COVID-19 pandemic need only look at its recent sales tax revenue. According to figures provided at Monday’s town board meeting, Isabel received $8,575 in sales tax revenue for the month of September and $1,526 for October.

Mild temperatures were enjoyed by all in the Trail City area this past week. Mark Benke from Loveland, Colorado visited Chuck and Marsha Aberle over lunch at their house on Thursday. Marsha spent the day with Amaya Aberle in Mobridge on Friday.
