Watch for counterfeit bills

Following several reports of counterfeit money turning up at businesses in North Dakota, the Mobridge Police Department initiated an investigation last week after a fake bill was passed and someone attempted to pass a second bill.

DAPL facing renewed legal bid for complete shutdown

The group of South Dakota tribes opposed to the Dakota Access oil pipeline last week renewed their calls for a federal court to shut down the pipeline after a previous order was sidelined on appeal.

Blood drive at Timber Lake set for Sept. 21

National Honor Society inducts 13 new members

Thirteen new members were inducted into the National Honor Society in a ceremony at Timber Lake High School on August 25. The ceremony was to have been held last spring but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
