Woman with ties to Dewey Co. pleads not guilty to embezzlement

A 47-year-old woman from Pierre with connections to Dewey County entered a plea of not guilty last Wednesday, Aug. 27, to stealing approximately $45,500 from the Community and Youth Involved Center in Fort Pierre.Dusti Deal is charged with grand theft by embezzlement.

Timber Lake man sentenced for sexually abusing of teen

A 27-year-old Timber Lake man was sentenced to prison last Monday, Aug. 25, by U.S. District Judge Charles B. Kornmann after being convicted in June of abusive sexual contact without consent involving a teenage girl.
