The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced last week it has awarded a grant of more than $18 million to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe for the repair of BIA Highway 6.
The funding was made available through the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program and will be used to support the highway reconstruction and preservation project.
