A 40-year-old Eagle Butte man has been sentenced to serve a year in federal prison after being convicted of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Roberto Lange sentenced Anthony Lawrence Collins to 12 months and one day, followed by three years supervised release, and a special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund in the amount of $100.
