Kolby Holzer, a freshman at Timber Lake High School, has won the award for Best Essay in the Northwestern Division of the American Legion Auxiliary Essay Contest. He earlier won first place in the local and district judging. The Timber Lake and Isabel Auxiliary units, who sponsor the local contest, are very proud of Kolby.
