Funeral services for Sondra Frances Bird Necklace, 38, of White Horse were held April 16, 2022 at Oster Funeral Home in Eagle Butte.
Sondra passed away on April 7, 2022 at her home in White Horse.
Sondra was born September 26, 1983 to Delilah (Creek) and Stanley Metcalf Jr. in Eagle Butte, the third of four children. She grew up in Eagle Butte with her beloved Unci Charlotte Garfield and Lala Dwight Garfield.
Sondra was a gentle soul, always visiting with her cousins and friends. She loved to laugh and joke with everyone. She was a proud auntie and loved each and every one of her nieces and nephews unconditionally.
In 2007, Sondra met the love of her life, Brice Bird Necklace, and they made their home in White Horse until the time of her passing.
Sondra is survived by her husband, Brice Bird Necklace; brother Marty Hale of Eagle Butte; sisters Londa Webb of Eagle Butte and Rose Metcalf of Dupree; aunts Laura High Bear of Dupree, Delema Butcher, Barbara Roach, and Darlene Rosas, all of LaPlant, Marlene Little Star, Tosa Creek, and Delia Francois, all of Eagle Butte, and Della Creek of Denver, CO; special cousins Howard Little Star, Sid Little Star, and Cheri Little Star, all of Eagle Butte, and Travis Little Star of Dupree.
