Leonard Martian

Leonard James Martian was born to Jacob and Angeline Martian on August 6, 1947 in rural Glencross. He grew up on the Martian family farm where he enjoyed many fond moments of speaking German, even when the teacher didn’t allow it, and “raising Cain” on the farm with his brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jacob “Jack” Kraft, 81, of Timber Lake will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Timber Lake. Burial will be at the Kraft Family Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be at 5 p.m.

William (Bill) McDaniel, 92, passed away on February 6, 2022, at his home in Gilbert, AZ. Bill was born February 2, 1930, to Frank and Esther (Burke) McDaniel in Lantry. He attended grade school in Lantry and graduated from Santa Monica High School in California in 1948.
