Norma Brenner, 93, passed away February 4, 2022 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Memorial services were held Monday, February 7, 2022 at First Baptist Church in McIntosh. Norma was born May 9, 1928, thirteen miles south of McIntosh to Christ and Henrietta (Gregor) Vilhauer.

Maynard Jess Traversie, known as “Babe,” was born on December 10, 1942 to Maynard and Lucille Traversie at Old Cheyenne Agency. In 1959 the family moved to Eagle Butte. He joined the US Army in 1960 and proudly served for over 16 years before receiving an honorable discharge.
