Kenneth L. Kirkeby, 84, of Rapid City died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in New Underwood. Ken was a 1954 graduate of Timber Lake High School. Arrangements are pending with Kirk Funeral Home of Rapid City.

Susanna (Montie) Birkeland passed away November 4, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society in New Underwood. Susan was born April 12, 1925 to Fred and Juliana (Schmidt) Montie in Quilcene, WA, the youngest of four children.

Thomas J. Whalen

Thomas J. Whalen, 81, passed away of Alzheimer’s on Oct. 20, 2020, in Tumwater, WA. He was born Nov. 14, 1938 to James and Elda Whalen at Timber Lake. He resided in the Washington cities of Tenino for 51 years, Pe Ell for six years, and Rainier for 20 years.

Gary Marrowbone, Jr., 55, of Red Scaffold entered the spirit world Thursday, October 29, 2020, at his home. Private family services were held Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Cherry Creek. Burial with military honors followed at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cemetery.

The funeral service for Alphonso Garreau, 85, of Dupree was held November 5, 2020 at All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte. Burial was in St. Basil’s Cemetery at Mossman under the direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge.

Theodore LeRoy Stanek, 97, walked into the sunset on Nov. 5, 2020, in Pierre. He was born April 12, 1923 in Boyd Township, Chippewa County, WI, the 7th child of 10 of Joseph and Libbie (Vlasnick) Stanek.
