Timber Lake girls struggle with press in 70-32 loss

The Lemmon Cowgirls utilized an aggressive full-court press and converted nearly a dozen first half turnovers by Timber Lake into 11 points as they claimed a 70-32 win over the Lady Panthers last Friday, Dec. 12.The loss dropped Timber Lake to 0-2 to start the season.

Lei earns second for TL matmen at Stanley Co. Invite

Timber Lake’s Blake Lei lost his first match at the Stanley County Invitational in Ft. Pierre last week, but he rebounded to win his next two and post a second place overall finish.Lei lost a 3-0 technical foul in the first round against Lane Coleman of Lyman.

Panthers dismantle Lemmon 56-28 in boys season opener

The Timber Lake Panthers grabbed an early scoring advantage and never looked back, using an aggressive defense and the hot shooting of junior forward Kanton Hunt to down the Lemmon Cowboys 56-28 in the boys basketball season opener for both teams last Friday, Dec. 12.

TL boys have deep bench, experience playing together

The Timber Lake Panthers return seven letterwinners from last season’s 15-7 boys basketball squad, including a pair of juniors who earned all-conference honors as sophomores.The Panthers open their 202526 season Friday, Dec. 12, hosting Lemmon and travel to Mobridge-Pollock on Friday, Dec. 19.

Panther wrestlers open mat season at Stanley Co. Invite

The Timber Lake wrestling team opened its season on Saturday, Dec. 6, by competing in the Stanley County Invitational in Ft. Pierre.Panther 132 pounder Blake Lei garnered second place honors while Levi Berndt claimed fourth place at 175 pounds and Taggen Paxton earned fourth at 126 pounds.

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers dropped their girls basketball season opener to perennial North Dakota powerhouse Linton last Friday, Dec. 5, losing a 35-19 decision to the Lions.Timber Lake hosts Lemmon in a boys/girls doubleheader on Friday, Dec.12.
