Beyer and Hornick lead Panthers at Beau DuBray Memorial Meet

Timber Lake senior Ian Beyer ran to first place at the first-ever Beau DuBray Memorial Cross Country Meet held Friday, Oct. 1, at the Little Moreau Country Club near Timber Lake while three Panther runners finished 1-2-3 in the boys JV race for the second week in a row.

Panthers crowned LMC Tourney champs

Timber Lake made a four-game run through the Little Moreau Conference Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, knocking off Faith twice to capture the 2021 championship. The sweep pushed the Lady Panthers to 13-4 overall on the season.

Panthers dominate Tigers on gridiron

The Timber Lake Panthers racked up more than 350 yards of offense while limiting the Dupree Tigers to just 26 total yards in a lopsided 52-0 win in the local 9-man battle of big cats last Friday, Sept. 24. The win boosts the Panthers to 5-1 on the season while Dupree falls to 1-5.

Panther JV boys finish 1-2-3 at Lemmon XC Invitational

Timber Lake claimed the top three finishes in the JV boys division at the Lemmon Cross Country Invitational on Monday, Sept. 27, while senior Ian Beyer - a state medalist last season - returned from injury to post a second place showing in the varsity boys race.

The Beau DuBray Memorial Cross Country Meet will be held Friday, Oct. 1, at the Little Moreau Country Club south of Timber Lake. The event honors Timber Lake High School graduate Beau DuBray, who was a member of the Panther cross country team.

Timber Lake native Tucker Dale of Ryder, ND, and his partner, Jesse Frederickson of Upham, ND, were crowned the North Dakota Rodeo Association’s (NDRA) season points champions in team roping.

Cowboys blank Ranchers in second half for 28-18 victory

The Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboys overcame a two point halftime deficit and held Harding County/Bison scoreless in the third and fourth quarters to claim a 28-18 win in area 9-man action last Friday. The Cowboys improved to 3-3 on the season and will host 2-4 Stanley County on Friday, Oct. 1.

Panthers, Kraft run wild over Newell in homecoming win

Timber Lake senior Hank Kraft ran for four touchdowns and caught a pass for another as the Panthers collected a lopsided 58-6 homecoming victory over the winless Newell Irrigators on Friday, Sept. 17. The contest was called at halftime under the Mercy Rule.
