Taken Alive leads Mustang boys at Potter Co. Invite

Jayden Taken Alive posted a second place finish in the varsity boys division of the Potter County Cross Country Invitational last Wednesday, Sept. 8, helping the McLaughlin Mustang boys place second in the team standings behind Frederick Area. Taken Alive ran the course at Gettysburg in 18:09.

Middle School boys second at Ipswich XC Invitational

The Timber Lake middle school boys posted top 10 finishes at the Ipswich Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 11, to boost the young Panthers into a second place showing in the team standings. Faulkton won the middle school title with 13 points and Timber Lake followed with 19.

NDRA Finals slated for Sept. 24-25

The North Dakota Rodeo Association (NDRA) is preparing for its Finals Rodeo while the South Dakota Rodeo Association (SDRA) wrapped up its regular season schedule with the Oelrichs Last Roundup Rodeos over the weekend. No results were posted by the time this issue of the Topic went to press.

Lady Panthers rally from two games down to spike H-S Area

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers rallied from a twogame deficit to even their match with Herreid-Selby Area last Thursday, Sept. 9, then completed the comeback by topping the Wolverines in the deciding fifth game to pick up their fourth win of the season.

TL spikers start season strong at 3-1

Timber Lake knocked off Little Moreau Conference rivals Bison in three straight sets last Thursday and went one-for-one at the Stanley County Triangular in Ft. Pierre on Saturday to move to 3-1 overall on the volleyball season. The Lady Panthers were in Hoven on Tuesday, Sept.
