The North Dakota Rodeo Association (NDRA) is preparing for its Finals Rodeo while the South Dakota Rodeo Association (SDRA) wrapped up its regular season schedule with the Oelrichs Last Roundup Rodeos over the weekend. No results were posted by the time this issue of the Topic went to press.

Lady Panthers rally from two games down to spike H-S Area

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers rallied from a twogame deficit to even their match with Herreid-Selby Area last Thursday, Sept. 9, then completed the comeback by topping the Wolverines in the deciding fifth game to pick up their fourth win of the season.

The Timber Lake Panthers and Herreid-Selby Area Wolverines put on a display of good, old-fashioned smashmouth football last Friday, Sept. 3, and when the dust finally settled, one team remained unbeaten while the other was nursing its first loss of the season.

Attention rodeo fans: Cole Elshere is back. The 31-year-old Faith saddle bronc rider continued his hot streak on the PRCA tour last week, scoring first place finishes at three rodeos over three days to cap an impressive 30 day run and move into fourth in the Badlands Circuit standings.
