Another NFL watch party at The Corner Bar & Grill brought in a crowd on Monday night, November 10, including a number of folks fromWisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers.

All-Little Moreau Conference football selections announced

Eight players from the conference champion Dupree Tigers have been chosen to receive 2025 All-Little Moreau Conference football honors while Timber Lake landed six on the list.Senior brothers Cruz,Tee and Fletcher Birkeland led the Tiger selections.

Region 8B Volleyball Tournament to decide SoDak 16 qualifiers

The No. 8 seed Timber Lake Panthers knocked off No. 9 Dupree in a grueling five-game play-in match on Monday, Nov. 3, to advance to the semifinal round of the Region 8B volleyball tournament.The Panthers were battling the Ranchers Tuesday, Nov. 4, as this issue of the Topic was going to press.

Panther spikers drop pair of hard-fought five-game matches

By Jaycie LemburgTimber Lake dropped a pair of hard-fought, five-set decisions last week to Faith and Newell and rounded out the regular season schedule on Tuesday with a visit to Wall. The Panthers entered their final game 6-23 overall on the season.

Tiger boys third in Class B, Braves fourth in Class A

Dupree’s seniors Spencer Olsen and Tayshaun Cu d m o r e were both medalists at the South Dakota State Class B Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Oct. 25, finishing ninth and 10th overall while helping the Tigers earn fourth place in the overall team standings.

Mistakes, points pile up against Dupree in first-round playoff loss

A pair of turnovers that resulted in touchdowns - and a lot of Kamden Keszler - pushed the Castlewood Warriors past Dupree 46-12 last Tuesday, Oct. 21, in the first round of the Class 9A football playoffs.
