A pair of high-powered offenses matched up when Dupree took on Harding County/Bison in Class 9A football action last Friday. Oct. 3.When the smoke finally cleared, the Tigers had themselves a 52-42 win over the Ranchers, improving their record to 4-2 on the season.

Quarterback Kaden Hunt threw for six touchdowns and ran for another as the Timber Lake Panthers bombed the visiting Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboys 46-28 in Class 9A football action last Friday, Oct. 3.The win lifts the Panthers to 2-4 overall heading into a meeting with 0-6 Gettysburg this Friday, Oct.

Dupree teams claim runner-up honors at Philip XC Invite

The Dupree Tiger cross country teams finished runner-up in three divisions at the Philip/WGPC Cross Country Invitational at Lake Waggoner Golf Course in Philip last Friday, Oct. 3 while Timber Lake seventh grader Mason Kraft continued to excel in the JV boys division with a second place showing.

Taken Alive, Miner win Todd County XC titles

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte’s Jayden Taken Alive and Aubree Miner claimed individual titles at the Todd County Invitational last Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Mission.Taken Alive covered the 5,000-meter distance in 17 minutes and :17.14 seconds, finishing ahead of CEB’s Jackson Taken Alive (17:37.03).
