Dupree runners earn boys varsity crown in Gettysburg

The Dupree Tigers earned top honors in the varsity boys race at the CDSD & YTC Cross Country meet held last Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Gettysburg with senior Tayshaun Cudmore collecting first place individually with classmate Spencer Olsen not far behind.

Dupree runs wild on Lemmon-McIntosh; hosts TL this Friday

Cruz Birkeland and Tre White Wolf combined for more than 300 rushing yards and five touchdowns as the Dupree Tigers ran wild over Lemmon-McIntosh 42-20 last Friday, Oct. 10.The Tigers, now 5-2 overall, will host region rival Timber Lake, 3-2, on Friday, Oct. 17.

Panther spikers get swept by Lemmon

The Timber Lake gym buzzed with anticipation as the Lady Panthers took the court, the echo of the first whistle bouncing off the walls. Under the glow of the gym lights, sneakers squeaked, voices called out, and the volleyball spun sharply through the air.

A pair of high-powered offenses matched up when Dupree took on Harding County/Bison in Class 9A football action last Friday. Oct. 3.When the smoke finally cleared, the Tigers had themselves a 52-42 win over the Ranchers, improving their record to 4-2 on the season.

Quarterback Kaden Hunt threw for six touchdowns and ran for another as the Timber Lake Panthers bombed the visiting Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboys 46-28 in Class 9A football action last Friday, Oct. 3.The win lifts the Panthers to 2-4 overall heading into a meeting with 0-6 Gettysburg this Friday, Oct.
