Timber Lake girls win two straight, wrap up regular season this Friday

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers won two-of-three matchups in the last week, falling to Mobridge-Pollock before bumping off Potter County and North Central to improve to 11-7 overall on the season. The Lady Panthers will wrap up their regular season schedule on Friday, Feb.

Panther boys move to 9-9 as end of regular season nears

The Timber Lake Panthers lost two games and won one over the past week, moving their record to 9-9 as they head into the final days of the regular season. The Panthers will host the McIntosh Tigers on Friday, Feb. 19, and make up a game at Newell on Friday, Feb.

Dewey Co. 4-H shooters qualify for State event Four members of the Dewey County Wildcat Deadeye 4-H Shooting Sports team have qualified for the State 4-H Shoot slated April 23-25 in Fort Pierre. The young marksmen qualified in the first of three 4-H Shooting Sports postals for BB gun.

The Timber Lake Panthers went into the 2021 Little Moreau Conference Tournament last week as the No. 4 seed with a 5-7 record.

Panthers lead All-Tournament Team selections

Three Timber Lake players were named to the Little Moreau Conference All-Tournament Team on Saturday after the fourth-seeded Panthers captured the 2021 tournament championship by upending No. 2 seed Faith on Saturday.

Taken Alive leads McIntosh past Dupree for 5th place LMC tourney finish
