Lady Panthers suffer first loss in OT

A close game from the opening tip was decided in overtime, where Herreid-Selby’s free throw shooting was the difference in a 58-51 Timber Lake loss. The 3-1 Lady Panthers will take on Lyman in Presho on Wednesday, Dec. 30, and host Faith on Jan. 5.

Moran’s 26 leads Dupree boys past McIntosh

Dupree’s Spencer Moran dropped 26 points on McIntosh last Thursday, including 18 in the second half, to lead his team to a 64-46 victory in the battle of the Tiger-mascots.

The Timber Lake Panther girls will return five letter winners for this winter’s girls Class B basketball season, which is scheduled to begin Dec. 11 at home versus Lemmon. Dec. 15 and 17 games with Herreid/Selby and Harding County, respectively, will follow to make a trio of home stands.

Timber Lake’s Hank Kraft and four members of the Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboys are among players to receive All-State honors for their play during the 2020 football season. Kraft made the Class 9A All-State Team while the Lemmon-McIntosh players were recognized in Class 9AA.
