Panthers sweep Bennett Co., extend win streak

The Timber Lake volleyball team got a victory over the traveling Bennett County Lady Warriors on Oct. 17, giving the Panther spikers their third straight varsity victory. Timber Lake went 25-1 1, 25-20, 25-22 for the sweep. The lead server was Carlie Lawrence with 18 serves and 2 aces.

BEYER BEST IN REGION 4B

Timber Lake junior Ian Beyer qualified for the State Cross Country Meet last Wednesday by capturing the Region 4B boys individual championship at the Region 4B Meet in Gettysburg.
The Dupree (ABOVE), Timber Lake (BELOW) and Lemmon/McIntosh (BOTTOM) football teams are all in the 9-man playoffs, which began with first round action this week.

A Whole New Season

The road to a state football championship is never an easy one, and this season it’s been even tougher. While teams have been dealing with restrictions, postponements and cancellations, they have also been facing the cause of it all: COVID-19. Some schools chose to cancel their seasons completely.

Cowboys end regular season with perfect record

The No. 2 ranked Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboys put up 54 first quarter points and finished with a season-high 80 as they blew out the winless Bison Cardinals 80-16 in the 9-man regular season finale for both clubs on Friday. The game was called at the half under the 50-point Mercy Rule.
