College group uncovers 1.5 ton triceratops skull near Lemmon

A group of students and faculty from Westminster College in Fulton, MO recently completed a two-month research excavation south of Lemmon near Shadehill, where they uncovered a rare triceratops skull measuring 7 feet in length and weighing 3,000 pounds.

Last Friday’s football season opener featuring Timber Lake at Dupree was postponed late in the afternoon, reportedly over concerns of a COVID-19 outbreak in the Dupree School after several student-athletes and a teacher-coach tested positive for the coronavirus.
