McIntosh junior Wyatt Larson fourth in State Class B golf

McIntosh junior Wyatt Larson carded a six-over-par 150 to finish in a tie for fourth place at the South Dakota Class B Golf Tournament in Rapid City last week while the Thompson brothers from Timber Lake - Hadley and Hayden - placed 20th and 25th, respectively.

HS rodeo season moves to regionalsThe South Dakota High School Rodeo Association wrapped up its practice rodeo schedule in Clark on May 26 and moves on to regionals beginning Friday, June 6.

Nash, relay teams lead Panthers at State Class B Track Meet

Senior Jasmine Nash claimed second place in the shot put and was third in the discus while four different relay teams posted Top 10 finishes for the Timber Lake Panthers at the 2025 State Class B Track & Field Meet at Howard Wood Field last Thursday through Saturday, May 29-31.

Braydon Terveen-Smith of Lantry and Minda Woodward of Dupree snagged Senior All-Around honors at the Dewey County 4-H Rodeo held Sunday, May 25, in Timber Lake.Terveen-Smith won the senior boys saddle bronc riding event and clocked an impressive 4.

TL golfers land fourth in region, Thompson brothers off to State

The Timber Lake Panther boys golf team took fourth place honors last Thursday, May 22, at the Region 6B golf meet at Hart Ranch Golf Club, with two members qualifying for the State Class B finals.

Local competitors take home wins at TLHS rodeo

There was no shortage of local event winners on Saturday, May 24, when area competitors met for the Timber Lake High School practice rodeo.Roy Antrim of Faith won the bareback riding with a score of 70 while Bailey Verhulst of Reva took top spot in barrel racing with a time of 16.150.
