Little League baseball returning to Timber Lake

For the first time in more than a decade, Little League baseball is back in Timber Lake.T-ball and coach pitch boys and girls leagues for ages 4-10 are set to begin in May.A parent meeting and registration session will be held Monday, April 28, beginning at 6 p.m.

Spring sports seasons set to get underway

Spring high school athletics are about to get underway with the 2025 track season opening Thursday, April 10, with the Mobridge-Pollock Invitational. Golf is scheduled to begin Friday, April 12, in Mitchell with another meet the next day, April 13, in Gettysburg.

Former Timber Lake coach inducted into Hall of Fame

Four South Dakota High School coachi ng greats were inducted into the South Dakota Football Coaches Hall of Fame, March 28, during a ceremony at South Dakota State University.Among the honorees is the late Mark Senftner of Onida and formerly of Timber Lake.
