Beer buzzer-beater lifts Panthers past North Central

The Timber Lake Panthers picked up their 10th victory of the season on Saturday, Jan. 31, when junior forward Treyden Beer - like he had ice in his veins - drained a 15-foot jumper at the final buzzer to give the Panthers a thrilling 52-50 victory over the visiting North Central Thunder.

Panther girls rally late to collect big regular season win over Sully Buttes

Jaylee Schoelerman dropped a team-high 22 points, rallying the Timber Lake Lady Panthers from a 12-point deficit to beat visiting Sully Buttes 57-49 in girls basketball action last Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Panther grapplers struggle with illness, compete at round robin

With illness sidelining a number of Timber Lake wrestlers, only a handful of Panthers were on the mat at the Mobridge-Pollock round robin tournament last week.Evelyn Gill garnered third place in the girls 145-155 weight class, including a nice win over Amanda Blue Coat of Cheyenne-EB-Dupree.

Maher leads TL girls past Bison for seventh place

Junior Ruby Maher poured in a game-high 20 points to lead the Timber Lake Lady Panthers to a come-from-behind win over Bison 60-53 for seventh place honors at the Little Moreau Conference Girls Basketball Tournament played in Lemmon last and Saturday, Jan. 23-24.
