Mo-Po tourney split leaves Lady Panthers 4-5 overall

A pair of regular season losses followed by a 2-2 split at the Mobridge-Pollock Volleyball Invitational over the weekend left the Timber Lake Lady Panthers at 4-5 overall this season.
The Dupree boys cross country team won the boys varsity title at the Redfield Pheasant XC Invitational last Thursday, Aug. 31, by placing three runners in the top 10. Team members are, l-r, Jeremiah Tiger, JW Pederson, TayShaun Cudmore, Jayden Marshall and Spencer Olsen. Pederson, Cudmore and Olsen all finished in the top 10.

Dupree boys take top honors at Redfield cross country meet

By Jon Flatland Three top 10 individual finishes pushed the Dupree Tigers to the varsity boys championship at the Redfield Pheasant Cross Country Invitational Meet in Redfield last Thursday, Aug. 31. The Potter County Lady Battlers claimed the title in the girls varsity division.

Youth football jamboree set Saturday

The Timber Lake Youth Football Team will be one of seven programs competing in the youth football Rumble on the River this Saturday, Sept. 9, at Tiger Field in Mobridge.

Hansen, Panthers blank Newell 52-0

Junior quarterback Gracen Hansen connected with wide receiver Gavin Farlee for three touchdowns and rushed for three more as the Timber Lake Panthers cruised past the Newell Irrigators 52-0 in Class 9A football action last Friday, Sept. 1.

Lady Panthers bounce back with back-to-back wins at C-EB, Bison

The Timber Lake High School volleyball team last week responded to losing their season opener to Harding County on Aug. 24 just the way new head coach Carly Schrempp hoped they would. They bounced back.

Vomacka injured in Lady Panther loss to Ranchers in opener

Timber Lake Lady Panthers opened their 2023 volleyball season at home against a formidable Harding County club last Thursday, Aug. 24, losing to the Ranchers in three straight sets but also losing one of their starters indefinitely to injury.

Lemmon-McIntosh uses aerial assault to upend Dupree 22-6
