Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Dupree’s Eulayla Maynard captured first place honors at the 2023 Hettinger Classic in Hettinger, ND, last week, bouncing back from a first-round loss to win three straight matches and the girls 100-105 pound title.

TL boys need overtime to top No. Central

Junior guard Tristan Dupris poured in a team-high 17 points, including four 3-pointers, to help the Timber Lake Panthers pull out a 5754 overtime victory over the North Central Thunder in non-conference boys basketball action last Thursday, Dec. 29. The win lifted the Panthers to 3-0 on the season.

Lady Panthers ride big first half to win

Sparked by 16 first half points from sophomore forward Jasmine Nash and a 20-9 scoring run in the second stanza, the Timber Lake Lady Panthers cruised past North Central 59-35 in non-conference girls basketball action in Eureka on Thursday, Dec. 29.

Mo-Po matmen claim seventh at Webster Invite

Aiden Schoenhard went undefeated to win the 220-pound championship and lead the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers to seventh place overall at the Webster Wrestling Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 31. Aberdeen Central won the team title with Miller second.
