The Dewey County Commission recently awarded a $423,000 contract for an addition to the Dewey County Courthouse to First Dakota Enterprises of Ft. Pierre. The new addition to the northwest corner of the building will provide sufficient storage of county records for many years.
Techs from Municipal Pipe Tool Co. were cleaning sewer lines March 11 but the work was interrupted after several residents had sewer back-up in their homes.

Following a pre-construction meeting with engineers and contractors on March 10, the Timber Lake City Board, at its regular meeting that evening, approved documents to get the water and wastewater projects started.However, one of the contractors, Municipal Pipe Tool Co.

A former resident of Isabel, Firesteel and Timber Lake surprised Isabel community officials earlier this month with a $10,000 contribution and instructions to use the funds toward replacing and updating the heating cooling system in the building.
