Karen Holzer to present program at Historical Society annual meeting

Karen (Dahlgren) Holzer of Spearfish will present “Shoebox to Memoir: Creating a Family History Keepsake” at the annual meeting of the Timber Lake and Area Historical Society at the Timber Lake Museum on Sunday, October 13.The program will be preceded by a potluck dinner at noon.

Archaeologist sheds light on local artifacts

Matthew Busch, senior archaeologist with the State Archaeological Research Center in Rapid City, presented an informative program and examined artifacts brought in by local collectors at the Timber Lake Museum on September 25.
