Ridgeview man sentenced for assaulting federal officer

A 37-year-old Ridgeview man convicted of assaulting a Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST) Police officer during an incident in Cherry Creek last year was sentenced in U.S. District Court last Monday, July 29, to serve 15 years in federal prison.

Two injured when Porsche rolls over north of Isabel

Two men from Grand Junction, CO, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries Saturday morning, Aug. 3, when the 1998 Porsche Boxer they were in crashed and flipped numerous times on Highway 65 about five miles north of Isabel.

Dewey County 4-H members show accomplishments at Achievement Day

Dewey County 4-H members showed their project accomplishments and what they learned during the 2024 4-H year on July 25 at the Dewey County Achievement Day in Timber Lake. The 4-H members ranging from ages 8-18 brought a total of 143 exhibits, including 9 music presentations.
