Margaret Salzer celebrates 90 years

On Saturday, May 4, 2024 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren joined together to celebrate the 90th birthday of Margaret Salzer. The celebration was held at the Community Room of the Lincoln Apartments in Pierre where Margaret lives.

Miranda Vines receives Army commission

Miranda Leigh Vines of Eagle Butte was among 19 members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Reserve Officer Training Corps who received military commissions May 17-19. Vines was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army on May 17.
