By Jon Flatland After gaining federal permission, the family of a famed poet/ author in October last year removed a small monument from its site along the Shadehill Reservoir south of Lemmon and plans to unveil the contents of a time capsule supposedly left inside later this month.

Four petitions filed for two seats on school board

As of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, four candidates had filed petitions for two vacancies on the Timber Lake School Board. The filing deadline was 5 p.m. that day. Candidates filing for the two spots are incumbents Bryce Lindskov and Joe Locken and challengers Doug Lawrence and Jackie Ridl.
