The South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) has become aware of an ongoing scam impacting multiple healthcare regulatory boards within South Dakota.

Local students earn degrees from South Dakota State University

Three local area students graduated after the summer and fall 2023 semesters at South Dakota State University. Samuel Joseph Bad Warrior of Timber Lake graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies in SDSU's College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Nest predator bounty program underway for youth trappers

The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) kicks off the sixth year of the Nest Predator Bounty Program as part of Gov. Noem’s Second Century Initiative. The 2024 program opened for South Dakota youth under the age of 18 on March 1. The program will open to all South Dakota residents April 1.

Blair leads Dupree youth wrestlers with region crown

Brelynn Blair captured the Region SDWCA Region 1 championship in the Girls Midget 65 bracket and was one of seven Dupree Youth Wrestling Club members to qualify for the State Youth Wrestling Tournament set Friday through Sunday, March 15-17, in Rapid City.
